PUPPY PEDIGREE
Fuze delivered 6 puppies on December 11, 2009. 3 boys (black and white) and 3 girls (black tri).

The puppies are beautifully marked with a lot of white (which I LOVE). Each puppy is definitely unique.

Puppies will be wormed and vaccines started before they go to their new homes. In addition, we will be BAER testing and eye-checking the puppies before they leave as well.

We do have puppies available, so please feel free to contact me. Jennifer@jentodogs.com

About the litter:
We are excited to announce that we are breeding our first litter at JenTo Dogs. Fuze has matured into such an awesome dog that I believe she is a great representative of her breed, showing outstanding herding ability, a wonderful temperament, and suberb structure and health. Fuze's lines are well-known and can be seen both on the trial fields and the agility rings at top competition levels.

We have selected the father for our first littler of puppies - Lonestar Lance. Lance is a male who complements Fuze in many ways. He has a tremendous amount of self-control, he's outgoing with people and dogs alike, he's gritty on stock, yet biddable. Lance also has an excellent pedigree filled with high performing stockdogs, including 2003 USBCHA Cattle Nationals winner, Imp. Cap, as well as dogs bred and trialed by Jimmy Walker.

Lance is bred by Kathy and Gerry Pavlich and his parents participate in cattle and sheepdog trials. Lance's older full sister is also trialing in sheepdogs trials and even entered AKC - where, her first time, in advanced, Missy won high in trial! Lance is currently training for AKC, ASCA, and AHBA herding trial programs, where he'll begin competing in 2010.

Temperament:

Lance is a happy dog who never seems to have a bad day. He is confident, friendly with dogs and has never met a stranger. Lance has no noise sensitivity, apparent fears, or "ocd" issues. Lance can win even non-dog people over with his calm demeanor!

Lance is strong on sheep and has an extensive cow-dog pedigree, including Stetson, the first BC to sell for over $10,000. Yet, Lance remains respectful of his stock and uses a quiet, confident power to move them. He will go into tight spaces without issue and pull even uncooperative sheep off the fences. He has a lot of speed, and can get any job done, fast!

Trainability:

Lance is a from slower maturing lines, and at 2 years old has begun his training in earnest. He takes correction well and works hard to please his handler. He is quick to learn, but also quick to forgive a correction.

Lance has good self-control and can just hang out doing nothing, but when it's time to go, he's off like a rocket.

Temperament:

Fuze is an outgoing dog, both with people and other dogs. She is a happy, confident, and always 'ready to go' and she is willing to try anything. She has been described as being "very comfortable in her own skin." Fuze is a great companion, and she loves to lay on my lap and cuddle all night long. In fact, if she could crawl inside my skin, I can't think of a place she'd be happier (well, unless it was working sheep!).

Fuze is strong on sheep and works with a lot of eye - she is very stylish. Fuze takes correction well, and makes a good partner - with those working her being quoted as saying "she's a rocket of a BC", "she's an adrenaline rush" and "she gives me goose bumps". Fuze is one of those dogs that people would arm wrestle to trial - she is that fun, and that good.

Trainability:

Fuze is a very easy dog to trian, in so much that she constantly wants to work and please me, but she is not too soft that I can't correct her when needed. She is extremely smart and often gets things the first repetition, which means, I must know what I want when I'm training new behaviors! Fuze loves the tennis ball and enjoys a good game of tug. She will work for treats, but they'd better be high value, or, she'll look for a ball or tug instead.

Fuze has excellent self-control, and can go from a calm puddle of border collie to a high-drive work-a-holic in a moment's notice.

Health:

Lance is OFA EXCELLENT, normal elbows and CERF clear. He is also clear/non-carrier for CEA (meaning these puppies cannot be affected!). Both his mother and father are OFA good, and CERF'd clear.

Health:

Fuze has OFA good hips, normal elbows, and cerf'd clear. Fuze was BAER tested normal as a puppy. Her parents are OFA good and excellent and her dad had been DNA tested for CEA and is clear/non-carrier.
