JenTo is simply a combination of my name (JENnifer) and my husband's name (TOdd), and since this website is about the dogs we own...how much simpler could it get! We have been together since high school, and the reason I decided I "liked" him way back then was because he had three dogs (a lab mix, an Irish Setter, and a toy poodle). I had one dog, a collie named Lady (hey, we could have named her Lassie!). Dogs brought us together.

We decided to get a dog in 1993 and adopted an Aussie mix from the local SPCA that we named Shango (after a central African god of protection). He was a 12 week old blue merle goof ball, and since I'd never had a puppy before, he taught me so much. It was because of Shango that I got hooked on Aussies.

Over the years, we have had several rescue dogs join our family (Bogey, Kira, and Foster). We have also added dogs from good, responsible breeders (Eshu, Fuze, Ticket, and Ali). All of these dogs have very special places in our hearts, and each dog brings lessons, love, and wisdom to our home.

We participate in a multitude of activities, including agility, flyball, herding, conformation, dock diving, and we are hoping to delve into obedience, rally, and tracking in the future.

Currently, I am a member of ASCA and USASA. We also belong to the Sacramento Flyball Club, Haute Dawgs Agility Group, and VacaValley Stockdog Club. In addition to spending time with the dogs, I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, and crafting, while Todd's passions lie in driving race cars and being a graphic designer (note, this website is designed and created exclusively by me...I wanted to try a new project!).
