Ticket comes from Callisto Aussies in Texas and is co-owned with Gail Karamalegos.

Ticket is training for stock work, agility, obedience, conformation, flyball, and just about anything else she desires. She is very biddable and extremely smart - Tick is one FUN little dog!

Ticket is maturing wonderfully on stock. She is squaring on her flanks, understands "out", has a great stop, and is rating beautifully. We are at the stage in her training where we are "going for a walk", and she adjusts her position to a natural balance point, keeping the sheep to me, but not overrunning me. Our goal is to have her ready to do Started at the Vegas Nationals; she started her career in AKC-earning her PT title August '08!

We introduced Tick to cows in July - and all I can say is WOW! I wasn't sure how it would go, when we went into the take pen with her on leash and she reared up on her back legs and started yiping - she was very excited to work them. But, she was amazing. She is a very strong header and wasn't afraid to get it and mix it up a bit. Luckily, the heifers were very tolerant of a young dog learning about cows.

Ticket's flyball training is progressing nicely. She has a wonderful turn, and good drive both to the box and on the return to me. She is bobbling out of the box every once in a while, and before I actively compete with her, we need to get that issue fixed - so she is running in warm-ups in tournaments and has proven to me that she will be ready to be a full time dog, as she can pass and be passed by any dog on the team and is not distracted by dogs in the other lane at all!

Her agility training is progressing just as nicely. Ticket is very willing to take direction while working at a nice distance. She drives into her 2o2o contact position and will drive ahead of me on sequences. Guides are still on the weave poles, so I'm hoping she'll be ready to make a debut at the Vegas Nationals...at least in jumpers!

Ticket is a good natured dog that is true to the Aussie standard. She is a protective dog who will not back down in the face of a challenge - be it a sheep, a cow, or the challenge of my poor handling!

She is an amazing dog who LOVES to cuddle and everyone that meets Ticket can't help but fall in love. So many people have said that if all Aussies were like her, they'd have to have one!

I am enjoying the ride and look forward to see where the Ticket-train is heading!
