I found Kira when she was about 10 days old, left in a box in front of WalMart. It was the middle of February, and I just couldn't walk away. So, I picked up Kira and her sister (now Jadzia, owned by my sister, Nancy).

Kira is a daddy's girl. Todd handles her exclusively in agility and flyball. She lives for her dad and will do anything he asks of her.

Kira loves agility and flyball with a passion. However, she wasn't always so easy to train.

When Kira grew up without a mother to teach her about "doggie communication", she grew to be a dog aggressive and fearful young dog. Only through a lot of training and hard work was that overcome...now most people think of Kira as the happy barking dog that does agility!

Kira is the dog that turned us into "dog" people. We started flyball because Kira loved tennis balls. We tried agility because we thought that would help her come out of her shell.

Kira is happiest when she's playing flyball, doing agility, or just hangin' with her dad. Which is a good thing - because a busy Kira is a good Kira!
