| Foster is a rescue dog that we agreed to foster in October 2001. He had severe fear issues and while he's come a long way, we're still working hard to have Foster become more comfortable in his environment.
Foster's main activity is being my main 'go-to' dog. When the neighbor's cows come through the fence, Foster is the dog I grab to take 'em home.
He has accomplished much through obtaining herding and agility titles, as well as being a much-loved companion.

Since moving to the country, Foster is a lot happier. There aren't red-merle Aussie eating monsters lurking around every corner. The unfortunate side effect is that he has reverted somewhat when we go to new areas with a lot of people. The good news is that Foster seems more than happy to stay home and hold down the fort when we go to agility or flyball events. He is, after all, my main chore dog, and he loves to watch the sheep.
Of course, when we went lure coursing in October, Foster absolutely wanted to come...he loves lure coursing!

It's hard to believe that Foster is 7yo this year. We still think of him as a "baby dog". Foster's true love is to play with the puppies we've brought into the house. He was wonderful with Eshu and now with Fuze and Ticket. In fact, Foster, Fuze, and Ticket are known around here as the three muskateers!
